"Hiring Micah to officiate your wedding ceremony will be the BEST decision you make in your wedding planning process! We know for certain it was one of ours. As a queer Christian couple, it was important for us to choose an officiant who could wholeheartedly affirm the sanctity of this particular union, and Micah did just that. He understood the magnitude of the day for us and showed up in a way that made us feel relaxed and celebrated. For months after our ceremony, friends and family remarked on how memorable and meaningful his message was. Micah went above and beyond the expected duties of a wedding officiant, even surprising us by reading a letter from someone dear to us that couldn't attend the ceremony. We were married in April of 2018 and were incredibly fortunate to have had Micah officiate our wedding. It was an amazing day, and made even more meaningful by the care and support he gave throughout the entire process. Micah has a unique ability to tailor his message to reflect both your spiritual journey and your community, all in a way that feels personal, loving, and inclusive. Micah is one of the most gifted communicators I have ever heard. I’m not stretching anything to say there are few people better suited to speak on such a sacred and important day. Marrying my partner was, of course, one of the best moments of my life. And having Micah as part of our ceremony truly made it more special.

Micah did incredibly officiating our wedding. We met with Micah twice leading up to the wedding day to plan out the service and the accompanying details. As an engaged couple, there can be so many family dynamics and pressures to please others with one's wedding ceremony. Micah met us exactly where we were and helped us navigate around these dynamics so we could create the wedding ceremony we truly wanted. He listened to what we envisioned and provided fantastic structure and recommendations. His humor, affability, and faith were such a blessing up there on the altar with us.
