Who am I and why should you work with me?

For more than 25 years, I've had the privilege of walking alongside people during some of life's biggest moments—celebrating weddings, welcoming new babies, grieving losses, and helping people navigate all the moments in between. I've learned that the best ceremonies aren't about following a script; they're about telling a story that reflects who you are and the life you're building together.

My wife, Laura, and I have been married for over two decades, and we've raised three incredible kids here in Minnesota. As we've watched our own family grow and change, I've come to appreciate even more how meaningful it is to celebrate the beginning of a marriage. Every couple has a unique story, and it's an honor to help tell it.

When I'm not officiating or working on new projects, you'll probably find me fly fishing for steelhead somewhere in the Pacific Northwest, building furniture in my wood shop, mixing craft cocktails for friends, or out training for a pilgrimage I’m leading to the Camino de Santiago.

Why work with me?

Because your ceremony should sound like you.

I don't believe in one-size-fits-all weddings. Whether you're planning an elegant formal celebration, an intimate backyard gathering, an adventurous elopement, or something completely unconventional, I'll take the time to get to know you, learn your story, and create a ceremony that feels authentic and personal.

My goal is simple: to help create one of the most memorable moments of your wedding day. One that's meaningful without being stiff, heartfelt without being cheesy, and joyful enough that your guests leave saying, "That was so them."

I'd be honored to help you begin your next chapter together.
