WEDDING OFFICIANT

classic weddings / intimate ceremonies / elopements / script writing / destination weddings

  • "We were thrilled to have Micah officiate our wedding last year! Throughout the whole process, Micah was intentional, flexible, and knowledgeable. He took the time to get to know us as a couple, he gave us helpful guidance in the flow of the ceremony, and he offered wisdom while always making us feel at ease. Micah has a real strength as a speaker, and he kept our guests engaged. We would highly recommend Micah to any couple looking for a wedding officiant!"

  • Micah did incredibly officiating our wedding. We met with Micah twice leading up to the wedding day to plan out the service and the accompanying details. As an engaged couple, there can be so many family dynamics and pressures to please others with one's wedding ceremony. Micah met us exactly where we were and helped us navigate around these dynamics so we could create the wedding ceremony we truly wanted. He listened to what we envisioned and provided fantastic structure and recommendations. His humor, affability, and faith were such a blessing up there on the altar with us.

  • What we appreciated most about Micah was the way he articulates things and how deeply he cares about the couple he’s working with. He truly takes the time to understand who you are as individuals and how you want to officially unite with your significant other. That level of thoughtfulness and support made our ceremony feel personal, meaningful, and authentic. We’re incredibly grateful to have had him as our officiant and would highly recommend him to any couple looking for someone who genuinely cares about making their ceremony special.

  • "Hiring Micah to officiate your wedding ceremony will be the BEST decision you make in your wedding planning process! We know for certain it was one of ours. As a queer Christian couple, it was important for us to choose an officiant who could wholeheartedly affirm the sanctity of this particular union, and Micah did just that. He understood the magnitude of the day for us and showed up in a way that made us feel relaxed and celebrated. For months after our ceremony, friends and family remarked on how memorable and meaningful his message was. Micah went above and beyond the expected duties of a wedding officiant, even surprising us by reading a letter from someone dear to us that couldn't attend the ceremony. We truly enjoyed getting to know him during our meetups and felt like we gained a friend through the process!"

  • "Micah was a pleasure to work with from beginning to end! We've known him for a long time & he made us feel comfortable & excited for the big day. When it came to the ceremony, he delivered an incredible sermon with just the right amount of personal touches. He gave a sermon everyone in the crowd could take something away from whether they were "religious" or not. We absolutely love Micah & were so honored to have him marry us! We even have a few pieces of his sermon up in our bedroom as a reminder."

  • "We were incredibly fortunate to have had Micah officiate our wedding. It was an amazing day, and made even more meaningful by the care and support he gave throughout the entire process. He prepared us thoughtfully for the wedding and led our rehearsal in a way that ensured everything flowed smoothly. He also just makes things incredibly fun! Micah has a unique ability to tailor his message to reflect both your spiritual journey and your community, all in a way that feels personal, loving, and inclusive. Micah is one of the most gifted communicators I have ever heard. I’m not stretching anything to say there are few people better suited to speak on such a sacred and important day."

  • "Micah takes the time to get to know people because he cares. My wife and I got married in 2017 and I still think of Micah's message often when I find myself not being present (his message was, partially, on the importance of being present for one's spouse in order to have a good relationship/marriage). Our wedding was casual, easy-going, and exactly what we were looking for—for us, our families, and friends in attendance that day. Micah has spent his adult life becoming a tremendous pastor, and speaker, but his greatest strength is listening. He will hear you when you speak and he will work with you so that you have the kind of day you will remember throughout your marriage—and he'll likely leave you with a message that will guide you for many years to come."

    Eric & Ali

  • "Micah was an incredible choice for a wedding officiant. He took the time to get to know us both as individuals and as a couple, and he really listened to what we envisioned for our ceremony. Micah helped us craft elements of the ceremony that felt unique to us and provided insight on how to weave traditional and modern elements into our unity ceremony, vows, and overall flow to the ceremony. Throughout the entire process, communication with Micah was easy and reassuring. His wedding message was so great that to this day, we still receive compliments from guests who were moved by his words and the impact they had."

Celebrating love since 2005…

I officiated my first wedding in 2005 and have loved it ever since. I’m honored to be part of your big moment. My top priority is making your ceremony exactly what you’ve imagined. I’ll do everything I can to ensure you look back with no regrets. Your ceremony can be religious or not, formal or relaxed—I’ll help create the vibe you want. With over 20 years’ experience, I’ve officiated everywhere: barns, cathedrals, hotels, a VFW, even a bowling alley basement.

Here’s how it works:

  • Initial Consult - It begins with a conversation to determine if we’re a good fit and all parties want to work together. Book that appointment HERE.

  • Booking - If we’re all in agreement, I’ll send you a link to officially book me for your day. Your date is locked in by making a non-refundable deposit.

  • Meeting #1 - Upon booking, I’ll send you an invite to meet and start planning your day. We’ll use this first time to get to know each other and for me to learn about your love story and the kind of wedding day you’re hoping for. You’ll leave with some homework and some decisions to make about the ceremony.

  • Meeting #2 - We’ll meet once more before your ceremony to finalize the details and the order of service.

  • Rehearsal/Wedding day - There is the option to have me at your rehearsal and to run the rehearsal for an extra fee. If not, I will arrive an hour before the ceremony to connect with you and your fiance and the magic of love takes over and we get you two married!
